| Thank God. You have been saved from the horrible machine that is the mainstream. This is a common story for a lot of pop punk bands. I was a fan of red jumpsuit apparatus from the time they were a little band in florida called In Fates Hands. Their sound has changed so much to fit into more of a mainstream role, I can barely listen to them anymore. The same with gym class heroes. I was out of the music scene for awhile and one day i walked into a gas station and saw them plastered on a case of mountain dew, a very sad day for me. Bands turning mainstream and selling out to appeal to a larger audience abslolutely destroys what once made the band really good. Music run by corporate machines, only intended to make money by appealing to the lowest common denominator, it all makes me sick. Thank god you're eyes have been open. That's really rare and really cool for someone your age. Ha i guess i went on a ramble as well. It's justthat all this stuff makes me so upset. | Question about the boy bands? I never liked any of the boy bands but I noticed trends. In HS & JrH NKOTB was hot with the pre-teenies but really a joke to the rest of us and still is today. But 98 degrees, Backstreet Boys, Nsync seemed much more accepted and successful. Why is that? |

| i have been a true fan of them since 2006. from the start i did see past their looks; what i mean is i fell in love with their music before i fell for them♥ yeah, the fake fans are super annoying. they get everything cuz there parents are rich--they get to go to concerts andmeet the jonas brothers and all. i have never been to a concert just because it wasnt possible. they dont come near where i live and my parents arent taking me too far. thats why the untrue fans are terrible. they get to do things and see JB unlike half of the true fans. oh and its so annoying when your watching performances and concerts on tv, like while the JB are performing all the majority of the girls in the audience are screaming throughout the songs. im under the belief that they arent even listening to the music and are just screaming for the attention of nick, joe and kevin because they are the hottest men alive. i would not enjoy that at concerts; having to listen to screaming girls over their music so im a little nervous to actually go to their concerts! but then again, just think, once they leave and move onto someone/something else the real fans will get to have more of the jobros hopefully. :) |
